CNY musical community by commissioning new

Mission Statement: Making Books Sing’s mission is to produce
professional theatre and related arts education
programs that immerse children, ages 4-14, in
the study of contemporary children’s literature.
Making Books Sing is at the forefront of
bringing professional, Off-Broadway theatre to
kids and families in New York City’s outer
boroughs. We commission new musicals by New
York’s finest playwrights and music artists;
then we premiere them in professional theatres
with full production values, live music and
accomplished actors and directors. Our
productions are a springboard for our theatre
